Rain affected many areas of Delhi
Due to heavy rain on Thursday, the Delhi Municipal Corporation obtained images of flooding in the villages of Fatehpur Beri, Sangam Vihar and Tikri. While in many places there were reports of uprooting trees. The Delhi Traffic Police helpline received 23 calls related to traffic jams, seven related to flooding and two calls related to tree uprooting.
The traffic jam was reported on the way from Khajuri Chowk, Goyla Dairy, Yamuna Bridge, Outer Ring Road, Paschim Vihar, Rohini Sector-8, Hanuman Mandir Pusa Road, Azad Market, Dwarka Flyover, Dhaula Kuan to Gurugram, authorities said. He said there was waterlogging at AIIMS flyover, Rajdhani a Mundka park, Nigambodh Dhat, Mayapuri flyover and other places.
