The branch of Jamaat-e-Islami Women’s Department in Lahore city organized a conference to celebrate International Women’s Day.
On this occasion, Samia Raheel Qazi who is in charge of Jamaat-e-Islami women’s group said that the purpose of the meeting is to make the women who are kicking know their plan.
The meeting of Jamaat-e-Islami Women’s Wing started from Istanbul Square and ended by going to Kachhari Street.
On the occasion, women carried banners and signs with the slogans of “Strong Family, Safe Women, Sustainable Society”.
The meeting was chaired by the Jamaat-e-Islami women’s group chaired by Samia Raheel Qazi and Uzma Imran.
The speakers said that they are dedicating this day to the oppressed women of Balochistan and Sindh and other flood affected areas.
