Waterloo Region health officials report that there are 15 more people in local hospitals with COVID-19 than a week ago.

There are 50 people in the Waterloo Region Hospital with COVID-19, according to Friday’s dashboard update. One of those patients is in the intensive care unit, up from four a week ago.
