Islamabad: Negotiations took place between the government and the sugar owners regarding the export of sugar, but no decision could be reached in this matter.

National Food Security Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema has said that no permission has been given to the sugar mills to export, a formula has been given to the sugar mills, we will see if the sugar industry is with it .

He said that sugar factories of KP, Sindh, Punjab are waiting for the decision to export sugar, sugar factories are facing equity problems, the price of sugar in the market is Rs 85 while the price per kg is Rs 115 .The sugar is Rs 115. the company will face a loss of 10 crores per day and a loss of 4 to 5 billion rupees in a period.
