Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Muslim women play an important role in every field. Islam fully protects the rights of women.
Speaking at the Women in Islam conference in New York, Bilawal Bhutto said that women in Pakistan are playing an important role in every field, everyone should make an effort to make women educated.
The Foreign Minister said that Quaid-i-Azam called women the main force of society, women are empowered by an unprecedented support system.
He further said that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto was a woman when she was the Prime Minister of Islam, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto always fought for women’s rights. Shaheed Benazir Bhutto wanted to empower women.

Earlier, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari arrived in New York to participate in the first World Conference on Women in Islam and the first World Day Against Islamophobia.
On the occasion of the 67th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, Pakistan is hosting the OIC Council of Ministers as the Chair of the session which will be held on March 8 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
The foreign minister will also preside over a high-profile event on March 10, which is set to commemorate the World Day Against Islamophobia in collaboration with the President of the United Nations General Assembly, Kasaba Karosi.
