Abbottabad: Former Olympian Fazlur Rahman, who won the Hockey World Cup for Pakistan, has died.

Fazlur Rehman won the gold medal of the Mexico Olympics, apart from that he also has the honor of being the gold medalist of the first Hockey World Cup.

Fazlur Rahman scored the only goal against India in Pakistan’s first World Cup match.

Fazlur Rahman represented Pakistan in the 1968 and 1972 Olympics and was also a gold medalist in the 1971 World Cup.
