According to the World Food Security Update Report released by the World Bank, the war between Russia and Ukraine has left poor countries in a food and debt crisis.
According to the report, African countries are facing the worst food shortages in 40 years and inflation is in double digits in many low-income countries, including Pakistan, which has risen from 5 to 30 percent.
According to the World Bank, food prices in Pakistan have increased by 25.9% during the last financial year and food prices are higher in all low- and middle-income countries.
