Cases filed against PTI leaders and workers in Islamabad transferred to CTD – Pakistan OUS News

Cases filed against PTI leaders and workers for protesting against the possible arrest of Imran Khan have been transferred to the Anti-Terrorism and Special Investigation Department.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan PTI leaders and workers protested in other cities including the federal capital over the possible arrest, during which violent incidents were also witnessed.

Many cases have been registered against PTI leaders and officials in different police stations of Islamabad, CTD will investigate terrorism cases and investigation department will investigate corruption.

Terrorism cases registered at Khana police station have been transferred to CTD, while cases of Tarnool and Bihara Kahu have been transferred to Special Investigation Department for investigation.

According to the report, orders have been issued to transfer the cases to the experienced investigation officers of the SSP Investigation, the SP level officer will monitor the investigation and the final report will be available for the SSP Investigation.

The administration has decided that the case report of policemen injured due to stone pelting by protesters will be given daily, the cases have been moved to reduce the work of police stations and to investigate properly.
